Hockey Association Skills Camp 2010
Transcona Minor Hockey Association is pleased to announce some
exciting changes to our annual conditioning camp for the 2010 year. The camp
will be run this year by Mike Goridichuk and Bruce Sirrell, Mike and Bruce along
with their staff will be offering a 5 to 1 ration for the age group of 7 – 10
and a 8 to ration for the age groups of 11 – 14. They will be focusing on the
primary fundamental skills for the ongoing development for all players, which
will include skating, puck, passing and shooting skills. Their approach will
provide a disciplined, yet fun learning environment, which maximizes the ice
space in using age appropriate drills.
The camp will run August 23rd to September 3rd, Monday
to Friday. We will be offering the camp to following age group:
7 & 8 year olds (maximum of 30 players in total 27 skaters and 3
goalies)
9 & 10 year olds (maximum of 30 players in total 27 skaters and 3
goalies)
11 & 12 year olds* (maximum of 30 players in total 26 skaters and
4 goalies)
13 & 14 year olds* (maximum of 30 players in total 26 skaters and
4 goalies)
* Hitting component included
The cost of the camp will be $150.00, which will include a
jersey. Registration forms will be located on the TMHA website
www.transconaminor.ca.
Remember it is a first come first serve basis.

We are currently in the process of locating ice times for a 6 and
under Intro to hockey and 4 x 4 camp for the 15 – 17 year olds.
